Senior International Financial Controller – Dublin 2 – Up to €130,000Reporting Head of Finance This US headquartered communications company is looking for an International Financial Controller to lead the finance team based in Dublin but supporting Europe & Asia. This role will suit a senior finance professional with c. 8 years post qualification experience within a growing international organisation. The ideal candidate will have a natural leadership approach and be eager to develop their own career, along with those around them. Excellent IT and inter-personal skills and a pro-active “can do” attitude would be a given.Responsibilities - Lead & develop an experienced team of six
- Manage the month-end close process and the financial reporting pack going to the US each month including – forecasting & analysis – statutory reporting, consolidations
- Develop strong internal relationships to ensure timely & accurate financial information is delivered
- Work with commercial teams across the region on dashboards for KPI’s both financial & non-financial, highlighting any areas for concern, improvements, reforecasting
- Support the VP of Finance & Operations managing the annual budgeting process, margin & variance analysis & working capital management
- Work with Tax, Payroll, Auditors and all other relevant external providers
- It goes without saying, this role will have a constant eye on opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk exposure and ensure best in class financial compliance
Requirements - Practice trained qualified accountant with strong international reporting experience
- Proven ability to manage an experienced team of six
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken will be essential
- Solid knowledge of both US GAAP and IFRS
- Exposure to foreign currency management & reporting
- High energy, problem solver/solution provider and proactive
- Cloud based ERP experience
Remuneration - Salary between €90,000 - €130,000 depending on experience, plus bonus & benefits, hybrid and career development opportunities
