Plant to Group Financial Accountant – Tallaght/Clonee – Up to €62,000Our client has completed several acquisitions in the past few years. One of which is a manufacturing company that needs a finance professional to upgrade the financial reporting & cost accounting processes. Once this has been completed, the role will become a Group Financial Accounting role.This would be a great role for someone who wants to learn the business first before heading to Group and potentially getting involved in acquisitions, integrations and expansion.Responsibilities - Review current inventory processes, work with IT to develop efficient & effective financial reporting processes
- Build a set of sales & margin reports across products, brands & customers
- Develop an accurate method around cost reporting – labour, materials, costs
- Create a monthly management reporting pack, providing insights to allow for cost improvements and commercial decisions
- Work with IT, Production, Supply Chain to automate processes where possible
- Act at finance point of contact for this manufacturing business
- Liaise with Tax, Auditors and Group
Requirements - Qualified accountant
- Sector experience would be an advantage
- An excellent communicator and a problem solver will be the right fit for this role
- Confident in ability and diplomatic
- Good with systems e.g. automating processes
Remuneration - Base €62,000 plus 25 days leave, hybrid working
