Senior Manager or Manger – Technical/Quality Audit Team Reporting to Audit Director and working closely with an Audit PartnerThis is a brand-new role on a brand-new team with expectations to grow quickly, giving new joiners a great opportunity for rapid career progression. The role is to work internally with the Audit Partners & Directors supporting their drive for Quality and Excellence. It is for a technically minded auditor who strives for excellence and is keen to assist leading & setting standards for success.Responsibilities - Work with internal stakeholders in the Audit department on complex and technical audit issues
- Oversee and ensure all current standards are compliant and updated in line with any new regulation. It is your role to be at the cutting edge of incoming changes
- This team will be the ‘go to’ gurus on new legislation, policy updates and industry trends
- It will be your responsibility to produce step by step documentation/manuals/processes and setting standards across the audit department
- There is potential to deliver training and workshops. This really is a unique opportunity to be in a highly visible role within the firm
Requirements - Practice trained qualified accountant – as this is a new and growing team, both Manager & Snr Manager level will be considered
- A love for all things audit and a drive for excellence. This role is to help with technical queries from the Audit team for their clients. If the same questions arise, it would be your role to identify this and perhaps provide tutorial documentation or a workshop
- Good communication skills, this is an internally facing role, but relationships will need to be built internally and it is a highly visible role, it will be part of your role to promote quality & excellence across the department
Remuneration - Competitive plus bonus & benefits. Office based initially, but hybrid once established
