Our client, a high performing player in their industry are recruiting for a management accountant to join their finance team. This role will report into the Financial Controller and will oversee the key function for the team. A strong communicator is essential as the successful candidate will need to build up strong relationships with other functions within the business. This will be a hands on and varied role that will give the successful candidate great experience. This role will initially be a contract position with view to permanency.
Roles & Responsibilites:
- Reporting to the Financial Controller - the Management Accountant will have responsibility for aspects of the finance function including financial reporting, management accounting, bank reconciliations, cashflow forecasting, debtors and creditors management, compliance and payroll
- Preparation of month end reporting and the compilation of monthly and annual accounts
- Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures in place, with strong internal controls
- Assisting in the creation and presentation of reports, business plans, budgets and financial statements
- Regular compliance and tax returns for several entities
- Assisting auditors with queries for year-end audits
- Preparation and analysis of KPIs & trend analysis
Experience Required:
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
