Audit Director, new permanent job with a long-established firm based in Dublin city centre.

Job: Audit Director

Salary: €70k - €80k

Location: Dublin city centre

This a newly created position aligned with year-on-year customer growth and internal hiring/headcount. Your role will be to oversee the performance and activities of two internal teams – Audit and Accounts/Outsourcing.

You will work hand-in-glove with the Manager’s of these teams to ensure quality, accuracy and time-frames are being delivered to customers and to promote further client growth. The role is also hands-on and you will have a small portfolio of clients to service.

Main responsibilities for the Audit Director:

• Day-to-day supervision of the Audit and Accounts/Outsourcing teams
• Manage your own small portfolio of clients
• Liaise with Partners on business development
• Oversee the commercial billings for the firm and communicate collections to team Management when necessary
• Be the primary point of contact for trainees in the firm and manage the intake of future accounting trainees
• Plan, budget and forecast in collaboration with the firm’s Partners

The ideal person for this Audit Director job

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA
• A strong track record of delivery within an Irish accountancy Practice setting with audit and accounting/outsourcing services
• 2-3 years of Management of teams/employees within an Irish accountancy Practice setting
• Expertise in Irish accounting standards
• A strong communicator and client relationship manager
• A natural performance manage and mentor
