Structured Finance Manager – Energy (Solar) – Dublin 1
Our client has a key new role for an experienced structured finance manager.
As this Dublin Headquartered business develops its pipeline globally this role will be involved with tenders, banks, investors and team members to lead financial transactions. The ideal person will have worked in Corporate/Project Finance and have very strong financial modelling skills. There will also be an opportunity to bill a team, but initially this role will be responsible for ‘doing’ the financial modelling. This company intends to IPO in the next three years. It’s an exciting time to work in a fast paced & dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Manage the financing of solar projects incorporating structured purchase agreements
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, capital providers, partners and team members
- There will be some responsibility for interfacing with investors during this rapid growth
- Source, negotiate and close tax equity and loan commitments
- Lead finance transactions, negotiations, due diligence and modelling. Strong financial modelling experience will be key for this role
- Lead detailed financial analysis of various financing options and drive selection and execution of preferred approach
- Support corporate finance activities including interaction with the capital markets and establish a green bond framework
- Play a key team role, collaborate with investors and present associated materials
- Lead all aspects of the deal closing process
Requirements
- Ideally experience in the energy/infrastructure/renewables/utilities space
- Strong financial modelling experience is essential
- Excellent communication
- Corporate finance experience preferred
