Strategic Project Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen with a large Irish Plc.    Working directly with a divisional Finance Director this role will be responsible for modelling & monitoring a variety of projects (some lasting up to three years!).  Recently a high level of investment has been agreed to fund a number of exciting, high profile projects and now needs a good communicator with a very commercial mind.

If you are a recently qualified accountant and want to work directly with a divisional Finance Director, who will double as an excellent mentor while having full visibility on the direction of the business then this could be for you.

Requirements

• Newly/recently qualified accountant, having trained in practice working with large ‘industry’ based clients
• Excellent communication both verbal & written.  The scoping & monitoring of the projects will require liaising with and presenting to stakeholders globally
• Financial modelling experience would be preferred
• Competencies required include – Problem solving, influencing & negotiation
• Travel is minimal for this role, maybe once a month for a day or two

Remuneration

• €55,000 - €60,000 depending on experience plus benefits & bonus
