Senior Category Manager – Finance – Dublin
An opportunity has arisen within one of the world’s largest household names.Their European Head office is base in Swords and they are looking for a new Senior Category Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Managing a number of food commodity categories, you will be key in delivering strategic sourcing along with annual savings and efficiency improvements.
Responsibilities:
Full end to end category management – food & ingredients
Deliver on strategic sourcing initiatives ensuring best in class processes.
Manage procurement related projects across quality, planning, logistics & contracts
Requirements:Previous multinational procurement experience–global,international,cross jurisdiction Food & ingredients sector experience would be
preferred.Commodity buying and hedging would be a distinct advantage
Strong and demonstrable negotiation skills essential
Detail & process orientated is key
Vendor management & relationship building is also essential
This is a sole contributor role but due to the many and varied project previous staff management in a complex project driven environment would be preferred.
