Risk Manager - Retail Financial Services Team - Dublin 1
Reporting to - Director of Financial Services, Retail
Location - Dublin 1
Remuneration - €65,000 - €80,000 depending on experience
This very large well-known business is introducing new products to their finance services offering. This means new risk frameworks, policies and procedures will need to be implemented. If you are a 'hands on', solution provider and excellent communication this brand new role could be for you!
Responsibilities
Implement risk framework & policies across all new products
Oversee and roll out an effective & efficient 'control' model across all new products
Understand the changing environment, look out for trends - good & bad - to avoid potential breaches of risk
Devise a comprehensive set of reports (nothing cumbersome) which allow senior management total visibility of both controls and risk
Work with the Compliance Manager, teasing out any potential issues to avoid recurring risk breaches
Liaise regularly with other risk teams & auditors both internal & external to deliver an effective risk programme for your area
Requirements
Ideally a third level qualification (and more) in Finance & Risk, Audit, Data Protection etc
Five years’ experience in a varied risk role, demonstrating progression, improvements & achievements in this area
Excellent planning, organisation and communication (written & verbal) skills are essential
Ability to 'bring people with you', this role will instigate change in processes & procedures, if you can't 'bring people with you' you will not be successful in this role.
