Practice Manager, South Dublin

This is a fabulous opportunity for a senior manager in a small practice to step up into the number two position of this practice, reporting directly to the owner. 

Strong experience in staff management & development will be key for the success of this role.  The owner has a strong network of clients and enjoys the business development aspect, but he is also keen to take a step back in a few years and is ideally looking for someone to take his place.

This role will suit someone who has energy and drive, who understands people and knows how to get the most out of a team through a supportive, inclusive, and coaching environment.   If you are a passionate about company culture, growing a business and building relationships, this role is varied and may provide you with the challenge and career development you are looking for?!

Responsibilities

• Working with clients from start-ups to established, preparing budgets, business plans and help with fund raising
• Act as financial controller for many clients, presenting the numbers, working with dashboards, driving business through key financial findings
• The regular stuff too – preparing year-end accounts, income tax returns, some tax planning advice
• Managing and developing an established team

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant with c 5+yrs PQE
• Proven successful leadership skills & people management experience
• Excellent communication with a natural flair for relationship building
• Self-awareness – in this leadership role you will need to bring people with you on a journey of growth.  Common sense, diplomacy & accountability are all leadership traits required for this role.
