A long-established city centre based firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking to appoint a part-qualified accountant to their Dublin city centre based team.
Job: Part-qualified accountant
Salary: 30k - 35k per annum, plus study support and paid study leave
Location: Dublin city centre
For over 80 years the have been providing a broad range of services and business solutions to select Irish and multi-national clients.
This part-qualified accountant vacancy would be ideal for someone with previous experience working in a small or medium-sized Irish Accounting practice.
The Candidate profile
- Part-qualified Accountant studying for an ACA, ACCA, CPA qualification, or recently qualified with one of the main accountancy bodies
- Minimum of 18 months experience in a practice environment, dealing with all areas of general practice
- Experience in dealing with clients on a daily basis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Strong IT literacy and knowledge of MS Office and a range of accounting packages
- Available to travel, including short/medium term stays either in Ireland, UK or further afield
Your Responsibilities
- Liaising closely with clients, providing timely service in conjunction with Partners and senior staff members
- Providing services in areas such as audit, taxation, accountancy
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Working on you own or with senior staff members to manage the successful completion of audit assignments
- Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
- Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time
