Management Accountant - North Dublin
Our client a global pharmaceutical company committed to setting new standards in healthcare and providing billions of people access to high quality medicine. They offer a growing portfolio of products, including prescription generic, branded generic, brand-name and biosimilar drugs, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) remedies. They are now looking for a bright Management Accountant to work in the area of Inventory.
Responsibilites:
• Monthly yield analysis for internal and external toll manufacturing
• Lead and co-ordinate the monthly inventory reviews for obsolete and slow-moving inventory
• Preparation of inventory provisions for internal and external manufacturing and central warehouses
• Provide financial support to Supply Chain, Sourcing & Product Launch Departments as required
• Detailed analysis of manufacturing scrap and inventory write off
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and reconciliations of inventory accounts
• SAP testing for new and complex inventory flows
• Inventory point of contact for statutory audit
• Forecasting & Budgeting Sales & COGS, inventory write-offs and inventory revaluations
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA from Big 4 or Industry
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• SAP and product costing experience are of advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
