Head of Reporting - Dublin 1 - 90k

The group finance department in Dublin are currently seeking a qualified accountant to be Head of reporting to report to the CFO
Responsibilities for this role include :
Establishment of the newly created Regulatory Reporting team
Managing the preparation of the Groups half-year and full-year published consolidated statutory accounts, including liaison with the Groups external auditors
Managing the preparation of the Groups monthly consolidated management accounts, including preparation of and review of financial information and commentaries for inclusion in the monthly Chief Executive report and board pack
Ensuring compliance with the latest developments in IFRS and company law, and be a primary contact for technical accounting queries from across the group
Maintaining a focus on strong internal controls and develop further the Group Reporting departments processes to ensure consistent compliance with best practice
Managing and develop a team of accountants, including involvement in recruitment activities
Managing ad hoc finance-based project work, including the reporting of business acquisitions and disposals
Preparation and presentation of material for UK management committees and board as required
Review, streamline and oversee the automation of manual regulatory reporting processes and reports
Preparation and delivery of the Groups internal and external financial reporting
Liaise with third parties to build strong relationships and ensure robust and accurate submissions
Manage the overall audit process for the Group, liaising with the auditors
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting bodies and provide support to the CFO on reporting matters
Required Skillset & Ideal Experience:
Qualified Accountant
Experience of complex, multi-currency consolidations and listed Group reporting
Relevant regulatory reporting experience, ideally within a UK publicly traded company
Proven experience in a similar group reporting management role
Experience in providing specific support on regulatory reporting matters
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Pro- active, flexible and capable of working to tight deadlines under pressure
Proven leadership and decision- making abilities in a business settling - Team Leadership
