Senior Finance Business Partner OPEX – Jamaica
Report to – Markets CFO
The overall role is to provide FP&A reporting alongside accounting & analysis support to both the market & corporate functions. This key and highly visible role will report directly to the Markets CFO but also support the Group CFO and CEO as required. This Senior Finance Business Partner OPEX role will work across the entire group providing financial planning & ‘realtime’ support, you will be responsible for building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor, assisting with decision making for strategic & commercial initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide detailed management information & analysis – reviewing financials to-date across operating expenses, headcount and KPI’s
- Work with budget holders and the consolidations team to monitor spend and re-forecast where necessary, highlighting concerns, upsides and opportunities
- High level ownership of three-year strategic plan
- Delivery of variance analysis reports, unusual business trends, market research and solid commentary which will be presented and reviewed at board level
- Review, measure and resolve issues, working closely with budget owners on balance sheets
- Participate in operations meetings
- Ad hoc projects including improving processes as and when needs are identified
Requirements
- Commercially focussed, analytical qualified accountant who has worked in a fast paced, detail oriented role previously
- Experience working in a ‘high volume of transactions’ environment e.g. telecoms, gaming, payments
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) essential
- Previous staff management & development experience would be ideal
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an excellent work ethic and lots of energy required
- Understanding & application of consolidation principals and IFRS
