Head of Finance - €six figures – Energy – Dublin 1

Due to expansion this Head of Finance role will manage a team of 8 and hold full responsibility for the finance function.

Reporting to the CFO

Responsibilities

  • Manage & develop a team of 8 experienced team members
  • Full ownership of technical accounting standards – IFRS, SPV’s
  • Review & oversee the preparation of the consolidated reporting pack, including commercial commentary
  • Tax planning, working with the Audit Committee, Governance & Risk all fall under the remit of the Head of Finance
  • Working with banks, investors and the CFO on reporting for transactions including covenants, compliance and funding
  • Also included is responsibility for treasury, banking, AP, payroll and insurance
  • Supervise the budget and planning annual process including bi-annual updates & revisions
  • Work with operations & commercial teams on project finance, deal structures, budgets, overruns etc
  • Develop and manage a KPI dashboard for key stakeholders
  • Lead a new ERP implementation
  • Oversee internal controls & process improvements

 

Requirements

  • Qualified accounting coming with strong technical accounting experience
  • 8 – 10 years experience managing & developing a team, ideally within the energy/infrastructure space
  • This is a Senior Leadership role, previous experience with a board reporting required
  • International finance experience preferred
  • Excellent communicator and successful team development

 

Remuneration

  • Six figures, plus bonus & benefits
