Head of Finance - Start Up Joint Venture - Distribution - Dublin West
This new concept in distribution is about to launch in the next few months. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager/Head of Finance who has worked in a rapid growth business, set up systems & processes and built a successful finance team.
Responsibilities
Set up - liaising with IT to identify the best processes to accommodate a rapid growth business and accommodate both agile pricing arrangements & invoicing
Managing the day to day running of a finance function from budgeting, forecasting, five year planning, cash management, AP, AR, invoicing and payroll
Work the the CEO on strategic plans to ensure the success of the business, identifying a dashboard of relevant KPI's
Oversee financial reporting, audits, financial statements, tax and vat
Attend monthly board meetings and present a reporting pack
Due to the start up nature of this role, there will be other operational duties which could range from procurement to HR initially
Requirements
Qualified accountant with a minimum five years in a senior role, managing a team and ideally in a start up environment
A good understanding across tax heads would be an advantage, but there is support
Proven experience of building a successful finance team
Excellent communication, presenting, report writing, taking & providing clear instructions
Competencies required - initiative, decision making, negotiating, problem solving, influencing
An entrepreneurial approach will be required for this role - analysing information and translating it into meaningful actions
Salary
€80,000 - €90,000
