Group Tax Reporting and Compliance Manger – Jamaica
Our client is growing their tax team. They have a number of exciting and challenging projects ahead which will provide an opportunity to take ownership of tasks and grow your own team. Based in Jamaica working with very experienced mentors supported by a wider team of six, this role will be key to transforming the Group’s tax reporting & compliance.
Responsibilities
Tax Reporting
- Monthly management reporting
- Tax figures for annual budget
- Quarterly tax reporting to investors
Tax Compliance
- Manage corporate tax income across all Group entities
- Vendor manager relationship with external tax services firms
Systems Implementation
- Work with the team on the implementation of a new ERP system focussing on securing a compliance team to work in this area post implementation
General
- Preparation and presentation of tax results for the Group (quarterly & annually)
- Delivery of cash tax budgets & forecasts for the Group
- Smooth transition of tax reporting from old to new system
Requirements
- Qualified accountant with tax qualification
- Ideally five years of varied practice & industry tax experience in a large, agile organisation
- Previous experience of large ERP implementation would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Ability to take full ownership of tasks, improve processes, hire & develop staff
- Have a natural ‘best in class’ approach to systems, processes & methodologies
