Group Financial Controller – Midlands, Ireland
Reporting to the CFO
Our client based in Westmeath is about to embark on a rapid growth phase over the next few years through both organic growth and acquisition globally. It is an exciting time and opportunity to be exposed to a wide variety of areas within finance. Supporting the CFO and board this private equity backed organisation has identified the need for this new role of Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
Work with country based financial controller to collate & share information to assist with process improvements and key business decisions
Full ownership of all financial reporting – consolidation, statutory, audit, month-end and board reporting
Work with key stakeholders globally to deliver consolidated budgets & forecasts
Produce commercial financial reports with commentary across treasury, margin, capex, sales etc
Assist with the integration of acquisitions including working with IT to automate processes where possible
Requirements
It is felt this will suit someone who is about five years PQE having trained (or remained) in one of the Big 4 on the ‘industry & commerce’ side
Ideally having worked in a manufacturing, multi-currency & multisite environment
Highly analytical with solid financial modelling experience, someone detailed orientated with the ability to think globally
Excellent communication both written & verbal is essential along with competencies such as influencing & decision making
This is a super-fast paced environment where you will be required to think on your feet and react immediately, high-energy is essential!
Remuneration
Base salary c €80,000+ plus bonus, pension contribution
Work from home policy – it will be expected this role will require someone on site about three days a weeks and some weeks not at all and others full time. A lot of flexibility will be required but nothing too onerous or unrealistic
