 Finance Manager job, newly created position with a hugely successful, international, FMCG company

Job:                     Finance Manager
Location:            South Dublin
Salary:                 €70k - €80k

This newly created Finance Manager position will assume the operational, daily finance management previously performed by the Group Financial Controller. The company are an international supplier of very specialist product and services, with a physical footprint of 70+ locations in Ireland and an annual turnover in excess of €25m.

In line with year-on-year growth and the implementation of new systems, there is now scope to add a talented and personable Finance Manager to lead the daily activities of a team numbering 6 people.

As Finance Manager you and your team will have ownership of

• Management accounting, monthly and quarterly
• Budget preparation and management
• Tax compliance
• Cashflow, balance sheet and variance
• Sales forecasting and analysis
• Annual audit preparation

Aside from these usual Finance Manager duties, there will be ongoing systems projects following their recent new implementation, as well as process improvement opportunities and, where necessary, systems training for customer facing employees.
 

The ideal person for this Finance Manager job

• A fully qualified accountant with an Irish, industry recognised award (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• You have several years of postqualification within industry, either in the FMCG or a similar sector
• You are bringing people management experience, either as a direct Finance team Manager or a senior accountant with several direct reports
• You are commercially minded and can provide insights and input to senior management meetings, in turn assisting business decision making
• You are bringing strong systems experience, ideally of an implementation or upgrade, with the subsequent roll out to the wider business
