Finance Manager – Dublin 2
Reporting to – Finance Director
Sector – Communications
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a small team in a global Irish owned company. Working with an excellent mentor you will learn a lot in this role in terms of mentorship and exposure to the full workings of an international company.
Role
- You will be given full responsibility of the following
- Audit
- P&L
- Consolidations
- Balance Sheet
- Financial Statements
- Monitor and develop business KPI’s – this role is not just accounting; this commercial element will require someone to think latterly and think ahead to understand and avoid variances!
- Liaise with internal stakeholder, it will be key for you to gain a good understanding of the business, the drivers etc to allow you to implement improvements and maintain best financial practices throughout the company
- Manage & develop a team of up to five people
Requirements
- Practice trained qualified accountant – ideally with a couple of years post practice ‘industry’ experience
- Strong technical accounting skills – the audit & reporting will be your full responsibility
- Energy & Agility! This is an ever-changing environment, you need to be comfortable with change and ready to implement improvements as necessary
- Attention to detail is a must along with strong communication & analytical skills
- Team management of between 3 – 5 people
