Property Construction Accountant - Limerick
The business is undertaking a number of construction projects annually as part of its capital program.
Projects include large - medium scale strategic capital projects, infrastructure upgrades and general refurbishment work.
We are seeking a property & capital accountant to join our Group Finance team whom will have responsibility for all aspects of the capital asset program for all Group Capital Projects.
The role will include responsibility for :
Capital Spend, Cashflow, Payments and management of the capital budgets
Financial Reporting, Asset Management, Standardisation and Automation of key financial processes & controls
Duties include :
Manage all month end capital reporting activities, including payment schedules and certification
Develop and maintain cashflow forecasts for all capital projects
Support the Group Head of Capital Projects in monitoring the capital spend of all capital projects
Ensuring the financial results and financial processes for all capital projects
Preparation of financial reports for presentation to the board of directors
Coordinate objectives to achieve common goals across the AP, Accounting and Capital Projects
Play a significant role in the implementation of improved financial systems and controls and evolution of the new revenue streams.
Ideal candidate will have :
Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent professional qualification
Evidence of continual professional development.
Ideal Experience :
Excellent accounting, auditing and excel skills
Post qualification experience, ideally 3 years plus
Previous experience in property or construction finance
