Commercial Finance Manager

Commercial Finance Manger – Manufacturing – Belgium – French language required

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller based in Ireland and the local General Manager

This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to gain international experience and use their French!  Working with a Irish global food manufacturing company who have recently acquired a plant in Belgium.  The finance has been outsourced to date and they are now keen to bring it ‘in-house’. 

This role will provide an opportunity to set up processes and implement systems already used in Ireland. 

Role

• Preparation and submission of weekly and monthly accounts to Group FC & General Manager while also providing commentary on items of note from budgets to variances to debtors
• Responsibility for credit control, audit, compliance, budget preparation and inventory management
• Recruitment & development of team
• Operational support to General Manager along with ad hoc project as they arise

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with 1 – 3 years post qualification experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Live and work in Belgium for c 2 years, as there are numerous opportunities to develop, move and grow with the company
• Fluency in French
• Excellent communicator who is at ease with dealing at all levels
