Billing & Revenue Assurance Manager – Healthcare – Dublin 1 – up to c €80,000 plus benefits
Our client is a private network of hospitals with over 1,000 employees including a large finance team with a lot of exciting improvement projects just launched. They are looking for someone to lead a large team of 20 to help implement efficiencies and develop the team through best in class coaching and leadership.
Reporting to the Finance Director
Responsibilities
- Oversee the billing function including a team of c 20
- Develop robust controls & governance for dealing with insurance companies
- Automate processes to avoid errors and duplication where possible
- Map & simplify processes & procedures to drive efficient & effective outcomes for patients, suppliers & staff
- Provide training & training manuals for new processes
- Deliver a table of achievable timelines for recurring processes – usually monthly processes – ensuring the right ‘checks & balances’ are in place
- Provide a dashboard of realistic KPI’s
- Work with several other functions to achieve the above
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting and/or a STEM subject
- Previous experience of transforming a billing department in terms of implementing new processes and driving efficiencies
- Leadership experience in developing & motivating a team
- Exposure or an understanding of Lean Six Sigma would be ideal
- Excellent communication (both written & verbal) will be required to bring people with you on this journey!
