Job: Audit Senior

Location: south Dublin

Salary: €45k - €50k

Working within a large and well-structured audit team, you will be one of a smaller cadre of qualified accountants leading audit activities for a huge range of industry clients. Acting as mentor to the part-qualified auditors, you will assign workload and assist the Audit manager and partner in reviewing work quality.

Some key duties as Audit Senior:

• Create audit plans
• Ensure controls meet assigned standards
• Provide analytical feedback to clients
• Provide risk advisory, risk management and compliance to clients
• Create audit plans

The firm provide all accountancy services to their long-established client portfolio, which means that as a senior in the business you will have involvement in much more than external audit activities.

The ideal candidate for this Audit Senior job:

• A newly qualified accountant having trained predominantly in audit
• You have excellent knowledge and understanding of auditing and control best practice
• Possessing an analytical approach but able to communicate your findings in an understandable way
• Friendly and communicative – so you are effective in a client facing position
• Able to mentor and coach junior audit accountants, comfortable assigning work and reviewing quality
