Accounts Assistant - Dublin city 

This role is integral to the day to day running of the company's finance department. 
Industry - Hospitality
Reporting to the Financial Controller who is a long standing member of the team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Accountant to join our Group finance team located in  Dublin city centre. The candidate will provide general accounting assistance and support to the finance team.

Duties include :
General Ledger posting and reconciliation of credit card transactions. 
Upload bank receipt and payment journals to SAGE and payday, weekly reconciliation of bank account
Experience working with SAGE, Payday, Procure Wizzard desirable but not required

Responsibilities : 
Managing and Processing purchases and Invoices
Liaising with heads of departments
Review and Reconciliation of accounts to include supplier spend analysis
Assisting with month end accounts
Preparation and filing of vat returns and payment runs
Implementation of payment and purchasing processes

Ideal candidate will have :
Previous experience in a similar role
Excellent numeracy skills and strong IT skills - eg Excel
Problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines and willingness to learn new skills
Qualified accounting technician or similar qualification or experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise responsibilities and work to deadlines
Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately
Enthusiastic team player, cooperative and flexible
