Job: Accounting Manager

Salary: €65,000

Location: Dublin, Dublin north

Your role as Accounting Manager will be non-client facing but managing a small, dedicated accounts preparation accounting team.

• Day-to-day personnel management of the Accounting and Bookkeeping Team
• Coordinating and assigning workflow, managing time-frames and quality
• Final accounts review prior to Partner sign-off
• Overseeing deliverables and billings
• Responsibility for internal training, developing an growing the team in headcount and ability
• Intake of trainees and recruitment of experience hires
• Strategy and budget planning with other department managers and Partners

This hire will also align with their internal promotion structure and succession planning, with a move to Director level in the immediate, short-term.

The ideal person for this Accounting Manager job:

• Fully qualified accountant (AC, CPA, ACCA)
• Experience in practice management or at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a senior accountant role within an Irish accounting practice
• Direct people management skills or experience mentoring/coaching trainees
• Expertise in accounts preparation for Irish SME businesses
