No news letter would be complete without mentioning a bit of sport and there is only one woman in town this month for that...
Rachael Blackmore, leading a new era in sports……..
What a double Rachael had last weekend having two amazing wins without mounting a horse! On successive days she was voted Irish Sportsperson of the Year and then BBC International Sportsperson of the Year. What a fantastic year for the fearless national hunt jockey and what a role model for girls everywhere.
What was even more encouraging for sports in general was the number of female contestants nominated for the ‘big one’, whilst separately, a poll to identify Ireland’s most admired sports star had women occupying the top three spots – take a bow Katie Taylor, Kellie Harrington and Rachael Blackmore.
A little work bit………?
Did you know that more self-employed people do their taxes on Christmas day than any other day of the year!? Proof positive that at this time of year people actually have more spare time on their hands than normal. So, for those of you who will use this time of year to review your career options for 2022, feel free to check out the bumper list of roles we have open at the moment.
Our question for December is:
Will 2022 see the end of Covid? Yes/No
