Divisional CFO – USA – West Coast – Six Figures $USD

Reporting to Group CFO based in Ireland and local CEO

This is a wide-ranging senior finance position ultimately reporting into an Irish owned & based head office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail, wholesale and/or manufacturing. The role is also responsible for the IS function locally.

Responsibilities

  • People management – from hiring to trained & developing staff, maintaining department morale
  • Finance– oversee general ledger, tax filings, cash reporting, annual operating budget, expenditure, forecasts, variance analysis, provide market trends, competitive activity & recommendations to allow informed business decisions, initiatives for cost saving & increasing profitability
  • Reporting & controls – completion of monthly accounts, maintain an up to date & accurate balance sheet, prepare & review annual consolidations & statutory accounts, manage internal & external audit process, ensure processes are in line with group policies and ensure correct segregation of duties
  • Operations – local licences, ensure procedures are all in line with best practice, attend SMT meetings & contribute to companywide projects
  • Work closely with the local CEO across operational & financial targets and the long-term business vision

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with c 10 years post qualified experience ideally within wholesale, retail and/or manufacturing
  • Fluency in English along with excellent verbal & written communication
  • Proven team management & development experience
  • The ability to demonstrate success in career to date
